Yeah, I've always known about the price difference. But DO NOT get me started about our inflated dollar! LOL.
But.. yeah.. I guess I forgot that the start kits are that much. See.. I used to be in between shades light & medium-beige so I didn't buy the starter kit.. so I bought all the stuff individually. I remember the lady telling me it was cheaper to get a kit but I was like.. UH NO. Ha ha.
It's definitely worth it, though. It looks really natural and it's actually good for your skin.

Aright.. I won't get into it because I get kinda crazy when it comes to politics. It bores everyone I know when I rant on about it.
Anyways.. Canadians impress me because I don't know how you guys withstand that coldass weather! I know a chick born/raised in Montreal and she thinks we're such chickensh!ts when we b!tch about when it gets "cold" in Connecticut. I tell her that her opinion doesn't count because she's cold-blooded. Ha ha, love her. She took her daughter to the Best of Both Worlds Tour when hit up Hartford last December. Sorry, I'm going off in tangents.
Back to makeup.. I need some mascara suggestions too. I don't have the talent nor patience for false lashes.
And powder bronzers. For those of you who do use it? What do you guys use? I've used MAC in the past, but now I use Bare Escentuals. I wanna try something new though. I heard Benefit is really good.

hahaha. well, i'm sure there are cold places in the states too. what about alaska? lol. vancouver is really mild compared to the rest of canada. other canadians say that about us when we say its cold. lol. usually it doesn't snow in the city of vancouver. i live on the side of a mountain so its a bit colder so i get snow.
but i have a car so if it rains/snows, i don't really have to endure too much of it.
lol. my dad was explaining the whole issue in the states to me. u can talk about it if u want. i don't mind. i always say that if i were american, i would be poor cause ive had so many operations on my ear and ive needed a lot of drugs. lol. for my skin. i used to think they were free cause i never had to pay for it cause of my insurance. lol.

lol. well, i use shu uemura precise volume mascara. i bought it holt renfrew. its like the saks of canada. probably have it at sephora. i like the brush, it really fans ur eyelashes at the end.

OH, trust me.. there are A LOT of issues. On another note.. yeah.. you guys have socialized medicine which is awesome. It would be great if it was like that here. I pay SO much for my health insurance.. like a ridiculous amount and it doesn't even cover prescription drugs. WTF, right? And all the medicine and crap that I need for my face?? Forget it.. it's stupid how much each one costs. I think the antibiotic pills alone were like $300. I nearly passed out. As for the weather.. yeah.. it's different everywhere. After living here in the Northeast.. it seems pretty inconsistent. The only consistent thing is that it's freaking cold in the fall/wintertime.. and apparently spring as well, lol. |

I don't know why I've never bothered to check out the mascaras. |

haha. i have their eyelash curler too. love it. and they give u an extra pad thing! and ive had this one for 6 months and it hasn't even curved in yet.
ya. its ridiculous, the american health system. my dad's business partner in the oc was charged $20,000 to get his thumb amputated. they didn't even save it and they charged him that much. i was like, wow. i would be dirt poor if i were american. and if ur really poor, u don't have to pay. that doesn't make sense. so the rich have to pay so that the poor can have health care?

Don't get me started. I don't come from a rich family; we're regular Joe middle class. So it's a struggle, you know? Then you hear how illegal f*ckers on welfare and sh!t don't have to pay for their d**n medical insurance and who's paying for it? YES, the taxpayers.. as in the regular Joe middle classers. WTF, yo. It's really bad in California.. the welfare system in particular. There was this chick in my Public Speech class and her persuasive speech argued that noncitizens should have the same rights as citizens. I was FURIOUS. I was like.. so you're saying that illegal asses like you should be ENTITLED to the same rights as people like me who came to this country legally and are citizens? She was like.. YEAH. I thought I was gonna strangle her right there in front of everyone.
Yeah, it that eyelash curler was worth every cent. When my dad and I went home to Cali for the holidays.. my sister was like, you're out of your f*cking mind; it looks the same as mine (hers was some generic brand curler). I was like.. no, dude.. you need to get a Shu Uemura like ASAP.
I heard of this mascara.. Fiberwig? One of the Sephora chicks was telling my about it last time I was there.. supposed to be really good.

ya. the whole health care system doesn't make sense to me. i mean, its great that the government is trying to help ppl who can't pay but its not fair. i mean, its not fair that i have to pay for bums to live when they spend all their money on drugs. ya. they have a problem but there are programs to help you get off the addiction and u don't even go! argh.
i just bought bare minerals. its gonna be worth it.
