Ew, it does not get cut in half! If anything.. it includes the WHOLE picture.. the ENTIRE scene. When it's full screen.. that means it's modified and crap which means they cropped sh!t to make it fit. No worries.. my mother HATES widescreen too. It drives me nuts that she buys dvds fullscreen and she absolutely despises me for my widescreen spree.
