Ok seeing as how we are all older here I am sure I am not the only one who is tired of the constant mentioning of Nick*Miley. On almost every Nick board I go to there are like 50 threads about these two. Were any of you this obsessive and jealous when you were going through your boyband/teenybopper/ima marry him one day phase?

I'm probably dating myself but when I was growing up, there wasn't the constant internet so you pretty much learned about celebs from the magazines you bought every month, and half of that information wasn't true anyway. I always steer away from the "Who are they dating" threads on the boards because so much is conjecture anyway.

I'm probably dating myself but when I was growing up, there wasn't the constant internet so you pretty much learned about celebs from the magazines you bought every month, and half of that information wasn't true anyway. I always steer away from the "Who are they dating" threads on the boards because so much is conjecture anyway. When I was in my early early early tween days, you had to get everything through mags too. Because it was right before the internet hit it big. I remember grabbing my BOP and begging my mother to get it because Devon Sawa was on the front of it. And then I had to have every mag that Hanson was on. I was such a teeny bopper.... oh wait, I still am! =) ♥ |

Ha.. during my *NSYNC-obsessing days, I told my own father that I was going to marry Justin Timberlake! His response was like, well, does he have a real job? I was 14 or 15 at the time.

Well, it was more like.. well, duh, dad he's a singer. And look at Justin now.. still doing his thing. The great part is that I played *NSYNC at the house so much that I my dad started singing along to the radio playing "God Must Have Spent.." while he was cooking breakfast one morning. I totally caught him too and he was SUPER embarrassed.. but I LOVED the fact that he knew ALL the words. Needless to say, it was a very proud moment for me, ha ha! |

I used to be super-obsessed with Dream Street, but I was never possessive like some of the girls at JBF are.
I guess I have a different outlook than a lot of fans -- if you can't have a sense of humor about them, you can't be a fan. One of my friends kind of gets ridiculous about Joe, saying stuff about when they get married, things like that. Great, it would be nice, not going to happen, we all like to dream, but really, lay off. It's getting old. Not that I would ever tell her that.
I think everyone should go through a super-obsessed phase. I promised my mom that I would be the super-cool mom that takes her kids to all the concerts that they want to go to, because my mom never did and I feel like I missed out on a lot.
But I'm not going to be that ridiculous mom that follows the bus, lol.

never did i think i was gonna marry anyone. but i was pretty obsessed with jesse mccartney. nick is my fave. i feel even more awful than marina cause i'm 21 and he's 15. but never did i think that i'm gonna date him let alone marry him. lol. but joe and kevin are really cool too.
