I applied for a cashiering position at this grocery store, which Mag works at also. Just for a 2nd job, for nights and weekends. I was in there visiting Mag for her lunch yesterday and the lady called me while I was there, and I met with her and right off the bat she was like "We're gonna start you at 8" No interview or anything. Hired, just like that. I'm like SWEET. Mag and I have lots of experience as cashiers so, I'm thinking that's why they're starting us off at 8, unlike everyone else.
They need a copy of my drivers license, but OH WAIT, I lost mine. Not at a bar, but at a Mexican restaurant, HA. Sweet life.
I'll probably be completely burnt out working 2 jobs for Burnin Up, but, ya gotta do what ya gotta do, right?
WOO!! I can't wait to start working.
PS- JOH HAVE FUN AT YOUR FIRST DAY BACK TO THE GAP

that is awesome! i'm so jealous tho! i got a job cashiering for the city pools for $16/hr. its sweet but boring. lol. i need another job too.

HA okay so in order to get my new license, I need my birth certificate...which I also cannot find! I got a new one a couple y ears ago and I gave it to my mom to put in a safe place, but she claims she told me to keep it. Since I just moved back home and half my sh!t is being stored at my grandparents house, it could be anywhere. So I just had to get a new one, $20 later...ugh.

Yeah.. it was fine. GAPK! Seriously.. it was like I never left. I even remembered my old employee ID, crazy. Yeah.. I wore 3-inch heels to work. You know what, though.. they worked out my legs nice so I may start doing it for 4-hours shifts like today.
Anyways.. sh!t, D.. wish I got $16 and hour.. I didn't even get that when I was working as a freaking manager for TDS (Disney f**king store).
Gawd, working for JB ticket money. Crazy. Random. There was a girl at the store wearing a JB shirt.. I told her I liked her shirt and asked her if she was gonna see them play in Hartford this summer.. she was like, NO, I'M GONNA SEE THEM IN CLEVELAND. Wtf, okay.. she was probably like 14. I wish I was spoiled like that.
