Disney is not going to take chances! They are trying to save Miley Cyrus’ career by taking her out of the spotlight:

“You won’t be seeing her for a while,” a highranking Disney employee was overheard saying this weekend at a luncheon in LA, according to Page Six. “The company is keeping her away from events and wants her to keep a very low profile for the next four to six months. They’re trying to keep her contained.”

Leibovitz - who has caused stirs in the past with celebrity shoots for Vanity Fair - apologized for the controversy but defended her work.

“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” the photographer said in a statement released by Vanity Fair.

“Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”

The magazine, on its Web site, called the shoot, “a relaxed family event.”

Finally, I’m getting a little sick of the Miley Cyrus’ overdose! I think it’s smart to make her disappear for a while but can they make her parents disappear too!? Oh MySpace should definitely disappear… forever!!

The photo shoot being called “a relaxed family event” is what makes me wonder?? Kids take their tops off and wrap themselves in a sheet for a family reunion?? That is a very dysfunctional family!!

i think she might be losing it but at the same time shes a kid. i've def seen worse. get on myspace and 15 year old girls are posting pictures like that. granted, she should know that she shouldnt be acting that way because of the spotlight.

the ones with her bf, cuddling or whatever are fine but when you see skin thats crossed the line.

i dig hannah montana and i like all of her songs. she seems like a nice girl but just a little forgetful of the situation she's in.

I like only one Miley/Hannah song and that is Nobody's Perfect.
I think we all did stupid things when we were 15. We tried to be sexier than we were trying to get the boys attention; but, I dont know about you, but I was never so stupid as to have documented evidence of my stupid antics! No pictures, no videos, no freakin witnesses, I killed them all. I don't know if she is going off the deep end but her parents seriously need to do something before she ends up like Britney. Maybe instead of Miley and her family trying to help Britney, Brintey needs to help Miley by telling her what not to do so she won't end up like her.

ya. i agree with you but she's in show biz and for the longest time, she put out this clean image so lots of girls look up to her and now suddenly, she's not a clean role model anymore. her fans are really young too.

exactly. She is a role model for little girls, and if I were a mom, I wouldn't want my daughters looking up to her. It's telling 5 year old girls it's ok to take pictures without clothes on, yeah that's not right.

the vanity fair pictures aren't bad to an 18+ year old but to a 10 year old who adores miley, that's completely different. also, there shouldn't even be pictures of her like that on the internet anywhere when she's being marketed by Disney as a clean teen [haaah one tree hill pun.] it makes her look bad and it makes disney look bad.

Ok, I worked for Miley during the "BOBW" tour. The catering company that I worked for did the food for the concert. We have worked with The Jonas Brothers before so, we knew what to expect from them but, not Miley. I have to say that I've never met a more spoiled brat in my life. She was whiney, hated everything and wanted the catering team to do things that we not part of our jobs.(She wanted Starbucks drinks and for us to go get them for her.) Miley hung all over Nick and followed him around. The Jonas Brothers kind-of knew us because we had worked for them before so, during a break I was talking with Kevin in the dining area and Miley and Mandy(her friend) came over and and Mandy said "What are you DOING! The CATERING team shouldn't be talking with important people" and Miley just laughed. The whole "sweet down-home" girl is all an act. She would be horrible and then a fan would come by and she'd be all sweet. People don't believe me when I tell them this because they weren't there to see it first hand. I have no respect for Miley. I think that her family likes the high life so, they let their daughter/sister do whatever she wants as long as she makes money. Miley loved the attention that she got from possibly dating Nick.(I didn't see anything that day that would be "Dating") and from her photos. She loves being talked about. Miley is a cash cow for Disney and Disney is not going to let their #1 money maker go without a fight so, they blame other people for what Miley does herself. Miley could've said "no" to the bare backed "VF" photo but, she didn't. So, when a stir was caused about it she went on the defensive.
