I have known these guys for about seven years. They played their first show ever with one of my friend's bands. It's crazy how much they have grown, musically. They have fun music. They started off as primarily ska...but they've definitely changed it up. They still have horns, but they're not as obvious. Anyways, you guys should check them out! www.myspace.com/driverfand they are doing some shows all over the place this summer! so, if you like them and they have a show near you, I would definitely recommend going to see them. They put on a really energetic live show! Hope you like them!

It wasn't the link, it's my computer. It hates my life, apparently. Now its your turn..check out Verona Grove www.myspace.com/veronagroveThey're friends of mine, from Wisconsin. They are also pretty energetic, and catchy, and you'll probably love "Goodbye Surrender" Since you're in Texas, haha that's awesome bc if you look at their page, they have 4 upcoming shows in Texas. GO CHECK ONE OUT, if you can.

That's good stuff. I definitely like "Goodbye Surrender". Ha...and within the first like five seconds of hearing them, I thought, "they kinda remind me of American HiFi!" Then I saw that Jamie was their producer! I might definitely have to talk a few of my friends into going with me to see their show. Ok, so here's my last one for you. They are from Austin. They are friends with American Hi-Fi and just played a show in L.A. with them not too long ago. Their myspace doesn't have much music on it right now because they're getting ready to release a new album. So, I would say check them out on itunes or something. here their myspace, though. www.myspace.com/cruiserweight

haha what's funny, is I am friends with Jamie as well. We've been friends for about 7 years now.
I will definitely check them out, when I get home from work. I work til 2:30..I am so tired. I got 7 hours of sleep, and I still don't think that was enough!!
But yes, get your friends to go see VG. But, if Josh (the drummer) hits on you guys, haha...stay far far away. Been there, dated him, made that mistake.

Haha...that's awesome! I definitely have a little crush on Jamie. I've never met him, though! I kind of can't believe I still haven't because we know so many of the same people! Maybe soon though...
7 hours of sleep sounds awesome right now. I didn't go to bed until after 5 and I got up at 7:30 to go to church. I'm tired but not exhausted. I definitely function well off of little sleep....don't know why. Weird.
And I will definitely stay away from Josh and probably all the other band boys. I've known my fair share of guys in bands and they are hardly ever...HA...well...more like never good news.

hahaha. They're nice guys, but Josh just has a few screws loose I think. But all in all, you should still check out one of their shows.
Jamie's such a great guy. I wish I could see him more. The last Hi-Fi show I saw was in '04. Luckily I've seen him play with Miley a couple times, and Butch Walker.

Oh and you said Cruiser Weight just recently played a show with AHF in LA? I am pretty sure Verona Grove was there too, haha.
