Ok, unless you're really a fan of swollen eyes, tight clenched throats and stuffy nose blowing, don't watch this one. Oh my god. I just spent tonight sobbing. The only other movie to make me cry like this is Steel Magnolias. But really, I think this movie was really great aside from the crying. It's a great love story.

I haven't seen the movie, but have read the book. The book is FABULOUS! Have you read it? I was a little disappointed that Hilary Swank was cast as Holly and the setting of the movie was changed to New York. I will definitely have to check out the movie though, I love a good chick flick!
Cecilia Ahern (author of P.S. I Love You) is an amazing writer! I highly recommend her books, especially 'If You Could See Me Now'. It's such a whimsical, magical book. I'm currently reading her newest release, 'There's No Place Like Here', I'm about half way through. So far, so good!

I didn't even know it was originally a book. Hm. I'm not a huge Hilary Swank fan so that was kind of making me hesitant in seeing it. However, I will say that she really played the part well. She really gets across the sadness and pain the character is feeling.

I want to see this movie SO BAD! But I've been working so much..well, I lie...I was obviously in the city all weekend, but working aside from traveling and being ridiculous. haha.
I really don't mind a good tear jerker. I cry about everything! I am so emotional...it doesn't take much to make me sob. AHEM..danscottgettinghitbyacar...ANYWAY!
I'll definitely look into reading those books. I love reading..and I just read the book "Please stop laughing at me" in like, 2 days. I need something to replace it.

Same here, Kris. Well, not about Alvin and the Chipmunks, but about crying over movies/tv.
I'm a fool.
