When TWIST sat down with Mrs. Jonas before a recent concert, she spilled to us on the guys' messy habits, what girls she would like to her sons to date and more!
TWIST: You've had quite a few crazy fan encounters. Does anything stand out for you as being super weird?
Mrs. Jonas: A girl climbing on the roof! My alarm went off and I was on a plane from LA to New York. Then I go on the web and I see that they're on my roof, and on my fence. There were like notes stuffed under my door!
TWIST: Are the guys good at handling stuff like that?
Mrs. Jonas: Their excellent! I'm not, but I'm so thankful for their fans.
TWIST: Our readers think that Kevin scratching his nose when he talks to someone like a sign. Is that true?
Mrs. Jonas: I heard that a couple months ago. It's funny because just at that time I'm like, "Kevin, you're getting into a habit!" Moms are always saying, "Stop doing that." It's just a habit.
TWIST: Do they have any other weird quirks or habits? Anything kind of funny?
Mrs. Jonas: Not out of the ordinary but things do annoy Mom. Kevin always remakes his bed at night. Being on the road all the time, they have gotten into some horrid habits, like leaving their towels on the floor. They drive me crazy!
TWIST: Who's the messiest?
Mrs. Jonas: It's a toss up between Joe and Nick! I used to get mad at them because I would look at their suitcases and say, "Why cant you just refold this?" After my first 8-week tour, I apologized. I said, "I am so sorry that I ever criticized you or ever got on your case because my suitcase looked like that."
TWIST: How do you feel about the constant attention of the media the boys have been getting?
MRS. JONAS: You just can't focus on it. How do I handle it? I know what's real. I know the truth.
TWIST: Do you get nervous as they get older and possible bad roads they might head down?
MRS. JONAS: I feel confident in the way we raised them. But I also know that they're going to make their own choices. I hope that if they need me, they'll feel they can come to me. There going to be normal. I don't want them to feel like they can't be normal. They'll do whatever they need to do in life. I trust them.
TWIST: Joe has told us that if he was to bring a girl home, she'd have to get along with the parents. What kind of girls do you like to see your boys with?
MRS. JONAS: If you listen to their song, "Video Girl," I love the lyrics because there is a line, "You know it's not good when momma doesn't like it." They really wrote that about me. The kind of girl I hope to see at some point someday is girls that have good social skills and are respectful of their elders. Not that I expect somebody perfect!
TWIST: Does that make you feel good that their constantly saying, "Mom has to approve?" We think it's so cute!
MRS. JONAS: It's really great that they're aware. I'm really thankful they paid attention, and they know. That makes me happy.
TWIST: What do you do as a mother to keep your kids grounded?
MRS. JONAS: My role is their mother and they need to be nurtured and I'm very happy with that. They love and respect me. They have friends, and that's what their friends are for. But I can be with them to do fun things. Being together as a family really helps, just to keep the family unit in line. Yesterday, they had to throw that trash out! They're good. Small things add up in the end.
TWIST: What's one piece of advice that you're always giving to them?
MRS. JONAS: Listen to your father!
TWIST: How do you deal with all the screaming girls?
MRS. JONAS: I wear earplugs! I remember being 12! I'm thrilled that they feel like they're connected.
TWIST: What's your favorite song?
MRS. JONAS: I love "Pushing Me Away." It helps me remember that I need to be careful as a woman, as their mom, always on the road. I think the hardest part when you're raising teenagers is me doing something to push them away. I love that song because it reminds me to be a little bit wiser.

I absolutely love this interview. Mrs. Jonas truly is a remarkable woman. Someone that many people can look up to and admire! LOVE HER!

We talked to her in State College she was so sweet she was so amazed that we had done so many shows & was so thankful. Also Mr Jonas and frankie waved us & were sweet  |

This is at least the third or fourth interview recently where they've mentioned the roof incident. I feel so bad for them, that would be an awful feeling. I hope enough kids are listening to know to NEVER try this again.

I teasingly told my daughter that if we won meet and greet, I was going to get a shirt that said "Frankie Jonases' Future Mother-in-Law." She was horrified. I think she kind of likes Frank.
