This game could be back to it's great former self if you rework the pilots and implants. Also improve match making I already started see ppl saying they would mind if they have to wait a bit longer to get opponents and teammates that are balanced and equal as them in strength and experience. And lastly I'm starting to see the same path of you taking the one war robots has taken 3 or 2 years ago, which is P2W. I'm afraid of having to go find a other mech game that doesn't have this problem then.
Game is fun but it's definitely become a pay to win game, matchmaking is ridiculously unbalanced and not fair. And this is a company that we'll give with one hand and take with the other,example they took our second copy of our Mechs and gave us an excuse that makes no sense. If I didn't have so much money in it from beta I probably would not have played this game at all
Man I'm not going to lie, I'm addicted to this game. It's like playing COD even when I'm playing on my Xbox 1. Even still I really have fun playing this game, and every time that I get on and I noticed that some things have been modified and changed especially with pilots, but it's definitely worth having the extra perks added on. Do you want to sing I would say would be just keep playing the more games that you play the higher your rank will be for free but worth it.
Was fun. Would be fun again if they figured out how to match players. Most of the time it's a David vs Goliath without the slingshot. There's still a small window if time to play when the matches are even but it only lasts for a short time.
I play this game non stop 🛑 but the most powerful mechs are to expensive. And also too much in app purchases. When we get new mechs and weapons we should be allowed to sell our old ones for a-coins and credits

Played the game for almost a month now, even put like 20 bucks into it because I was enjoying myself. It comes to a point where it cost consistent money because you can't rank up your mech without the "premium currency." You get some in the game, but it is a very slow rate and not enough for later levels. It also get to where you are getting one-shot by whales. I liked this game, it has a good start to get you hooked, and then it quickly gets to be unplayable.

Game is ok, but you will be greeted with 5-10 pop ups you have to close every match. It a very poor game design and a very frustrating experience.
A really fun game. It technically isn't pay to win, however they should do the math for us on how long you'd need to grind to get 3k a-coins to unlock a mech. That's not enough though because your weapons will be outclassed. If you're a whale, you'll love merking all of the f2p mechs. *edit after response from dev* Okay, do the math for me. How many days would I have to grind for a-coins and credits to get missle rack 8, and Cheetah? I'll even say you don't have to upgrade any weapons or mechs
UPDATE Dec 24 2021: *Pilots broke any balance this game once had.* A simple fix would restrict the amount of power you are allowed to bring into any one match (like drop tonnage in Battletech). This would make the game about skill and choice of weapon (and pilot) again. It would give a reason to use non optimal builds and non optimal weapons (like auto cannons). It would force whales who want to play against f2p players choose between one super powered mech or several under powered mechs._____________________________________ ORIGINAL POST: This should be a 4 or 5 star game, but the company does not care about the game experience of the player. They want to trick people into paying money for it once they are committed to playing. BEWARE OF THE SUNK COST FALLACY playing this game. For a person who is not going to pay and just play the events this is a great game to play every day for about 2-3 months. Then If you want to play beyond that you will have to pay or be fodder for those who do. Until they make a match making system that evens out the teams you will not go any further. The only way to make the important in game currency (a-coins) with out buying them is to win tournaments. Once you start facing P2W players you stop winning tournaments and don't advance. Mech Arena tries to hide this through various "events" that you can play every day to win *some* things. The fact is by the time you get to the mid game those rewards are so minuscule compared to the requirement to advance equipment or get new weapons, and you are so out ranked by people who can and will pay, that you will not advance. Come mid game, you MUST buy in game currency or weapons, in order to participate in the events that will you get the money to buy the equipment to win games. As the game attracts more players that fall into the trap it will get worse. Its a good game with a company that does not really care about improving its experience. Play for 2 months and quit. I really like this game. I wish the makers did as well.
I've been playing this game for several months now. There is either a bot infestation or the developers have Bots playing games. Once you understand the algorithm you can easily feed off them. It's upsetting that it's advertised as a player versus player game but it's definitely not.
arena mech is a dissapointment when im trying to buy something and it dissapears in five minutes also i dont know about the inclusion of pilotation if its true to the game and seems a little bit spooky i dont know if the ideation of personas applies to mech but its interesting but by then my pocket began to lagg. i like arena mech initially and it has good perspective but its a little too sophisticated for me when primarily it has no story and love of money. id like to see mech arena ver. 2...
This is a pay to win game. 100%. Someone will be long shortly to tell me all the currency can be earned in game. That's true! But at such a glacial pace that you'll spend months saving up for one item. All the while getting pummeled by someone who paid $80 for a weapon (on sale for $50!). Or multiple weapons and mechs. It's a shame, because when the game is actually evenly matched, it's pretty fun. One or two whales in the grouping changes it to a landslide.
Wonderful app. Occasionally it will pause for a few seconds and sometimes say disconnected. It is frustrating sometimes because I'll get killed during the pause. If you could fix the glitch/connection issue that would be great. Thanks. Great game!
I can't enter thr game over mobile network. It makes me wait on Authenticating. I tried the dormitory's network but then an error 0 pops up saying (a call to SSPI failed...) Am I not going to be able to play the game on my network? Do I have to find a network that the game accepts? I was able to play the game on one of the networks but thats it. Game itself is pretty good that doesn't need lots of storage space unlike other games.
I am trying to get good at the game and there are still so many times where I am stuck with honestly. In the begining when you are still geting good at the game because you are with other players your rank but slowly but surely it dosn't becaome that way. for example I am division 5 but most of the times I am stuck with people that are higher but that is not the only problem. Pay to win is a problem not enogh values to do upgrades and buying stuff even in cluding all of the crates and missions.
Love this game so far. Out a lot of hours in and encountered a few scenarios where people have spent cash to unlock the higher tier weapons faster, but if I am using a mech with a good counter then I can still come out on top. Spending money will make it easier to progress. But I feel the balance is pretty good and seems to be improving with time. Can play 1 or 3 quick matches or have longer sessions, both equally fun!
Everything is alright but.....the problem is when a killshot and surge use both their abilities on one another, killshot does damage but surge does not apply EMP to killshot. Please repair this issue.
I like the game so much and I'm playing the since it's release. Everything is ok, I want you to include an option that allows the pilot to select his favorite map in control points or 5v5 TDM or 2v2 TDM. I'm requesting plarium to put this option in mech arena
Game is awesome. Or was awesome I should say. All day the battles won't load so I can't even play not sure if it's a server issue or what. It's def not my signal as I had full 5g coverage earlier and now I'm wifi. Still can't play any battles
1.pay to win definitely 2.doesnt do well with teaming up people if same strengths 3.offers pay to win advantages so cheezy even if you do pay to win there is always #2 that falls into play. 4. For God sakes loading after you die is way to Long. 5. Reloading time on your ammo is a joke . 6.seems certain players have guns that seem to do more damage then they are suppose to and I own a lot in this game as I wanted to see if I bought stuff if it would help nope it doesn't. 7. This game is so good. But the only problem is the pilots. They don't even give anything. And they give nothing. And you even waste 40,000 credits for them. And I see so many players having the general pilot or something like that. And it's 2000 plus A-coins and it's so wasteful.
Has potential to be a blockbuster. 1. Please add a backout/cancle match search button. 2. Fine tune mech movement. 3. Need a over top shield to block air missile attacks. 4.Auto group after team game. Get rid of your cheating , auto aiming bots. Calling you guys out on the BS you're putting everyone through to push them to buy buy buy. Play for free, its just a fun time killer. Don't fall for the false glory. 4 bots yourself vs Mirrored. WARNED! This past update I noticed you guys beefed em up.
Great game and lots of fun! I will purchase in-app upgrades, and have in other games, but not at the prices you are asking for the packages. The game works great when connected to Wi-Fi...otherwise it will search for players and eventually time-out after a couple minutes and revert to the home screen. Right now, I can't log in because it tells me I need an update...but there is no update available in the Google Play Store?
War Robots but actually sufferable. The loot boxes are for skins and free credits, instead of OP guns. Really needs to fix the connection issues, as I can only play the game with a VPN turned on (many other people have this problem). It doesn't sound bad, as I should be using a VPN anyway, but the one I use gives me monthly limits on data, thus limiting the time I can play this game.
What a good game! But why i give you only four stars? Because when i open this app, its lagging. And when in the battle, its lagging again. Then i died beacause of lag. I think there is some bugs in this game. Pls, fix it and i will give you complete stars. But nice!
*UPDATE* THIS IS A HUGE GRAB FOR MONEY! They just posted an upgrade pack for a mech, everything you need to increase the rank... Everything but the A-coins you'll need which will be substantial. That is false advertising, and I intend to report this to Google. It is a great game with great mechanics. You will really like it for about a week. After that, you'll run into the fact that you have to pay to go any further. All the spam popups to get you to buy stuff are really annoying as well.
Excellent game, play it all the time. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to the relentless promotions from the shop. I think I've had to close 8 in a row before. An experienced player (who's already spent money in the shop in the past) should be given enough respect not to have to face this everyday, especially if they spend regularly anyway. Show some love to your players!
The matchmaking needs some working. And the upgrade/buying prices need to be reduced. Otherwise it's a good game. Keep it up Edit: One thing I forgot about is that there should be a lobby cancel button as there are times when I felt my mech needs changes just as I clicked matchmaking
It's a fun game so far, but almost impossible to do many things. As a beginner I see there being no way to do many things. COMPLETING CERTAIN CHALLENGES COST MONEY. Event tokens feel impossible getting especially the event tokens for the current events. The game feels very pay to win. There should be a way players can enjoy having fun without needing to spend loads of money just to complete challenges.
The game is good fun. But the amount of pop ups when you first open the game is so annoying that it puts me off playing it. Once you get into it and start having fun, you get out in with people that pay to win. Sucks all the fun out of the game and made me stop playing after a couple of weeks. Shame as it could be fun. Don't waste you time with this. There is keeping players up to date and there is just putting 7 pop ups to try and get you to buy stuff.... That's my opinion on it.
The game is good, but the amount of players using lasers are really annoying. Literally every game the entire enemy team are using lasers. If you're using lasers you are NOT good you're trash. Please get rid of it or nerf it. Also the amount of times this game pops up something for me to buy is insane. I think the devs need to cut back on the purchases. It's like you have to buy almost everything.

The game was between 3&4 stars I decided 4 because it has great potential though it does have a few pages of problems (mostly balances) but I might change it soon because it's slowly falling to the path of ptw and it's quite limiting to ftw similar to supercell as well as the ptw side I will advise it people that where able to survive the first waves of war robots great path to ptw but if you lack the skills or rusty use broken weapons like mortar and jav where you aim and someone dies
Open your wallet. This game was so fun but matchmaking is so broken that you have a team of AI against another team that has 1 player with twice the hanger points than you do. The problem has increased with the adding of pilots and P2W players growing that divide. The graphics, maps, game play are all great but ruined by these facts.
I like this game very much .There are so many mechs and weapons .It is better than war robots.Its animation is good. Every thing is good but a-coins are very hard to get only in weekly,daily and other events give a coins .plz make it easier to get a coins.but i am giving 5 stars because of ,i have alrrady tell.still can you put that mech which looks like lancer.but its very very good game.
Very amazing game but the match making is very bad.Most of the time I'm with bots and if im with real people there just overleved for my experience.i have 12k experience but it pairs me up with people that have 100k throught max experience and I be losing the tournament because of it.
Just removed game.... You'll only enjoy the game play if you have a fat wallet! Updated, Mech Arena, you really are out of touch with the game play as it stands ATM. Take a look at the YouTube reviews! Players hitting 20+ kills in a game is not balanced. F2P players have no chance which is a shame because over the long term they have to be more dedicated to reach top tier....
The game is good i actually enjoyed it but... My main problem is i keep getting matched up with the weakest players in control point clash and i keep losing this happen so many times now they either just go for a kill or literally do nothing and im mostly the one whos doing all the work and they all barely made it to 10,000 score. Which is really frustrating. And why can't I report a player? What if there is someone who is idling? This is just bad. Just purely bad. 🙄
100% pay to win. You can get the stuff as a f2p player but it will take months to save up for 1 item also This new pilot update is terrible. They are also going to be making this cross platform with PC and mobile. That is a terrible idea. Put people with full mouse and keyboard against fingers?!?! Who's idea was that?!?! This game was a great game until this. I will be uninstalling and probably never playing again. It was fun while it lasted.

Response to dev. reply: your events and rewards are nowhere near high enough for the prices you have on ugrades. I stand by my statement! Update 2.0 - upgrades for your legendary mechs and weapons are almost non existing, don't bother buying them! This game is 100% pay to win, and even we you do pay (I'm easily 50$ in) it still wants you to pay more to upgrade what you paid for. If you do not pay be prepared to lose a lot and to spend a enormous time to upgrade your mechs and weapons.

It was great... untill my acount was lost to the either. For some ungodly reason the game forces a new acocount, forces tutorial battles, and DISCONNECTS your last account's email so that you cant even blitz past the tutorial to relink with your old account. What. The. Actual. Hell. NOW I have been FORCED back into day 1 even tho I used to be at division 3... please for the love of god don't do foreced tutorials and account creation with the. Very. First. Button.
Fun game. Jk. P2w pos.In the derby event going on at the time of writing this, I now have to wait and extra day because one of the needed things to get it today is a purchase. You dont even try to hide how scummy this is. It's a fun game at the core but ruined by the in game micro-transactions. It's fun to play, quite difficult to earn money in both forms tho. Some mechs are unfair and just annoying to deal with. If you wanna play, do it, but don't be suprised.
Fix this bug! I load into a game and after 20 sec or so it says reconnecting to game. And has a dumb countdown. Then once it reconnects I'm dead or I can't reconnect at all. It didn't happen when I first downloaded the game. Fix it!
The game is no doubt quite fine but, you need to add a currency converter systems , we all know that in the game we can purchase 1 million C coins for 9000 A coins but, we can't purchase 9000 for 1 million C coins , can we ? No, so I am asking you here to please look into the matter and do something about it, please.
The game so exciting.. I love it. ! But there's problem , "error" failed to start battle. Always appear since adding pilot update, I'm still hoping you add chat box, tally of all players after battle end, this game is awesome 😎👍 I will rate again if it happens.
A coins are too hard to collect. Even if you grind for weeks. Other games would have given much more if I grind my time in them and I go against people having 4000 squad power where as I have only up to 1800 how is this matchmaking fair? How ? Developers how ?

The people who rate this game haven't played long enough to actully learn and play the game, thus is a fun game where some weapons are broken like Javalen Rockets and longer 10 but, there is one thing that bugs me, for a while my friends could get a Mach that had 4 legs (forgot the name) and they got it and I would've had it but the button diddnt appear on my screen, also the season 1 button only appeared on my screen.
